Lufio is a mobile application designed to help users improve their well-being through guided breathing exercises. We take your privacy seriously and follow a minimal, transparent, and privacy-first approach to data handling.

2. Data Collection

Lufio does not collect personal data and does not require user accounts.

To understand how the app is used and to improve its quality, Lufio collects anonymous, aggregated usage analytics. This data cannot be used to identify you personally.

Specifically:

  • No names, email addresses, phone numbers, or passwords are collected.
  • No user accounts or profiles are created.
  • No advertising identifiers are used.
  • No cross-app or cross-site tracking is performed.

Anonymous usage analytics may include information such as:

  • When a breathing exercise is started or completed
  • The category of exercises used (e.g. sleep, relaxation, energy)
  • General app interaction events (e.g. app launch)
  • App settings usage (e.g. selected vibration style)

This data is collected in an aggregated and pseudonymous form and is used solely for analytics purposes. Lufio uses Firebase Analytics to process this anonymous usage data.

3. User Control

You can disable analytics collection at any time in the app settings. When analytics is disabled, no usage data is collected.

4. Internet & Connectivity

Lufio works primarily offline. The app connects to the internet only when:

  • Sending anonymous analytics events (if enabled)
  • You manually open an external link (e.g. app support or website)
  • The App Store system handles updates or purchases

5. In-App Purchases (future)

Lufio may introduce Pro features through in-app purchases in the future. All purchases are handled entirely by Apple’s App Store infrastructure. Lufio does not access or store any payment or billing information.

6. Children’s Privacy

Lufio does not collect personal data from anyone, including children under the age of 13. The app does not use advertising, tracking, or profiling mechanisms and complies with applicable children’s privacy regulations, including COPPA.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy to reflect changes in the app. Any updates will be published here, along with an updated “Last updated” date.
